Month of Gratitude, Day 6: Art Supply Resources

I'm grateful for art product producers -- who inspire me, and who help me create my art.

The fabulous Cloth, Paper, Scissors magazine and website is a font of creativity, inspiration, challenge, community, and instruction:

Their tag-line is "where mixed media artists come to play."  And boy, is that right.  Lots of contests and challenges.  Lots of artists sharing their techniques.  Every issue is chock-full of ideas and images that will get your creative juices flowing, and teach you a thing or two.

Bean Up The Nose Art would be lost without Ranger Ink products.  For instance, there is at least one color of Distress Ink and/or Adirondack Color Wash in every single one of the collage pieces:

And I cannot say enough about ArtChix Studios, out of lovely Victoria, B.C., Canada.  (Canada . . . . we love Canada.  When we die and go to heaven, it will be filled with Tim Horton's . . . doughnut holes of every variety, and fabulous coffee.  Eh?)

Unfortunately, I could not lift the banner itself from the site, nor from the blog.  So "Bingo" is what we've got here . . . one of their fabulous products.   If you click on over to their website, you will recognize a lot of ArtChix paper products in Bean Up The Nose Art collage pieces.  Helga and her staff are another fabulous group of folks who a) put out wonderful, inspiring, quality products and b) have been generous enough to allow Bean Up The Nose Art use them in pieces for reprint.  ArtChix also has completely cool monthly challenges, swaps, giveaways, and other inspiring events.   YOU SHOULD BUY THINGS FROM THEM!!!!
