MONTH OF GRATITUDE, DAY 1:  Sugarskull7

Boy oh boy, are we grateful here at Bean Up The Nose Art for the mad rubber stamp design skills of Kim J., whose etsy shop  is "Sugarskull7":

That right above is a cool pin that she sends along with her rubber stamp packages.  That right below is the banner of her etsy shop.  (Did we mention she has an etsy shop?  If you want to see some cool rubber stamps, you should click right on over to it ASAP!)

Kim has been designing and hand-carving stamps for 15 years.  Two years ago, she began selling them on etsy -- where we found her.  Thank goodness!   See?  Here's one of our fastest-selling cards:

Want to know where the dogs came from?  Voila:

That's right.  That's a sugarskull7 stamp right there.  And Kim has generously allowed us to reproduce him.  And his friends.  Seriously.  You will find her designs on tons of Bean Up The Nose Art products.  And a fabulous new bag of them was delivered just a while ago.  Cannot wait to incorporate them into new collages!

Kim is a full-time artist, designing and hand-carving her stamps eight hours a day, plus painting, plus learning to screenprint.  (So, we can look forward to a new product line from her soon!)  And she has a 16-year-old daughter.  And an artist husband . . . who just lost his corporate gig . . . so now we have a household full of artists giving it a go at making a living as artists.  GO, ARTISTS!!!!  Hooray for your bean-up-the-nose spirit:  "Let's give something a shot, and see what happens!"

Other things we bet you couldn't guess about Kim (who lives in SoCal):  she is "obsessed" with hula-hooping.

So, here's hula-ho(o)ping that your future is bright and prosperous and even more art-filled, Sugarskull7.  YOU ROCK!!!
